This advert is for a single genuine Knott 47.1mm silver metal dust hub cap. Embossed with the word 'KNOTT'.
Top to bottom outside height is 23.20mm
There is a ridge around the middle of the cap which stops it being pushed in too far and from the bottom to the ridge measures 7.94mm
Grease Caps although relatively inexpensive play an important role in protecting the bearing assembly. Water and dirt ingress can potentially affect the bearing's running and efficiency, leading to premature bearing failure. Therefore, it is highly advisable to replace any damaged grease caps to save money in the long term.
